Basic Remote Hands:
Anything that is considered basic service. Tasks must take 15 minutes or less to complete. This will be determined by the on-site technician.
Some examples of basic service are as follows:
- Power cycling / Physically pressing a button
- Temporary KVM Spider Attachment (If available on-site)
- Adding/Replacing hot-swappable drives
- Screen Readouts
Remote Hands:
Anything that is considered non-basic service. This will be determined by the on-site technician.
Some examples of non-basic services are as follows:
- Installation of an Operating System
- Internal Hardware Installation/Replacement/Reseating
- Customized Network Configurations
- Troubleshooting

Dallas, TX Datacenter:
- Basic Remote Hands: Free of Charge
- Tasks that take 15 minutes or less to complete. These tasks will be addressed by one of our technicians.
- Standard Scheduled Remote Hands: $120/hr (Billed in 30-minute increments)
- Tasks that are addressed on the next scheduled datacenter visit
- Urgent Scheduled Remote Hands: $260/hr (Billed in 1 hour increments)
- Tasks that are addressed on the next business day
- Emergency Scheduled Remote Hands: $275/hr (Billed in 1 hour increments)
- Tasks that are addressed within 30 minutes
Vancouver, BC Datacenter:
- Basic Remote Hands: Free of Charge
- Tasks that take 15 minutes or less to complete. These tasks will be addressed by one of our technicians.
- Standard Scheduled Remote Hands: $100/hr (Billed in 30-minute increments)
- Tasks that are addressed on the next scheduled datacenter visit
- Urgent Scheduled Remote Hands: $125/hr (Billed in 1 hour increments)
- Tasks that are addressed on the next business day
- Emergency Scheduled Remote Hands: $150/hr (Billed in 1 hour increments)
- Tasks that are addressed within 30 minutes
Other/Misc:
- Deracking: Non-urgent deracking requests are $50 and will be addressed on the next scheduled datacenter visit. Urgent/Immediate deracking requests fall under Urgent or Emergency Remote Hands depending on timeframe needed.
- Shipments: All inbound shipments are free of charge, as long as an inbound shipment ticket is opened 24 hours before the shipment is expected to arrive. Outbound shipments are charged at RH rate; Customers are responsible for providing shipping labels and materials. Shipping materials can be purchased from us if needed.
- Railkits: Customers are expected to provide their own railkits with their server. All railkits must support standard square holes. In the event that an invalid/no railkit is provided with the server, the customer has the option of purchasing universal railkits from us (Pricing varies depending on the location).
- Building Servers: With the exception of hot-swap drives, building servers are charged at RH cost. This means if you purchase a bare bone server + separate parts from an online retailer, RH costs will apply.
